Other Treatment Options for Bell's Palsy

Bell's palsy is a condition that results in the paralysis of the facial muscles. While the exact cause is unknown, it is believed to be related to the inflammation of the facial nerve. Symptoms include drooping of the eyelid, drooling, and difficulty speaking and eating.

Treatment for Bell's palsy typically involves a combination of steroids and antiviral medications. Physical therapy may also be recommended in order to help the patient regain control of the affected muscles. In most cases, patients recover fully from Bell's palsy within a few months. However, some patients may experience long-term complications such as muscle weakness or paralysis.
